About Quinn
My mother was an at home teacher when she was my age and I think I learned a passion for teaching from her. I have always helped my friends and family with their school work as well so when I got to college, I started tutoring for real.
I have a high school diploma from Mariposa County High School with a 4.67 GPA and was Valecdictorian for the class of 2018. I just graduated with my B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior with a 3.18 GPA in June 2022. I am taking a gap year and then pursuing graduate studies in forensic science.

With new students I have an introductory meeting to understand where they would like my help. I ask them to tell me what they would like to work on in our session a few days beforehand so I can create a teaching plan as well as any worksheets to use.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How do you learn? Are you a visual learner, do you like watching videos? Is extra homework helpful or would you only prefer to do work with your educator or tutor present?
What subjects are the hardest for you and why do you think you are having trouble? Is the teacher not noticing? Is the teacher not teaching to your strengths and weaknesses?
Do you do well with posiitive reinforcement like prizes and positive words?

My starting price is $30/hour for private tutoring.
If your student would like to have a friend/sibling join it will be an extra $7 per hour. Travel fees may apply unless you would like to choose my virtual option. Additionally, if your student has special requests for tutoring, my pricing may go up.
