About Dawn

I use real-world application, scaffolding, and modeling to help students achieve their learning goals. I have a concentration in mathematics. I am passionate about educating others. I have been teaching for 5 years. I also have my Master's in Elementary Education. I decided to become a teacher so I can help educate society future leaders. I am part of the solution, not part of the problem, in my community.

I enjoying seeing students realize how much strength they have within themselves. I enjoy challenging students and helping them challenge themselves.

I always wanted to be a teacher at an early age. I received my Bachelor's from Harris-Stowe State University. I received my Master's from UMSL. I started teaching, and currently teaching, at Saint Louis Public Schools.

I have my Master's in Education. I have a concentration in mathematics. I completed professional development in a Science, Technology. Engineering, and Math (STEM) program. I have been teaching for 5 years. I taught 6th grade math my first year of teaching.

About the lesson

I would like for the student to send me their contact information. The student needs to include what specific area they need tutoring for and a little background information about themselves.

I have worked with children ages 6 to 15. I also have worked with adults.

I would tell them to get ready to challenge themselves. They will be able to track their growth from the start of our sessions to the end of each session. I will not give up on them and I will advocate for them, when they cannot.

I always attend a teacher institute, in Texas, founded by the ThurGood Marshall Foundation. I mainly tutor friends and family members. I work for at Ames Visual Performance Arts.
