About Devon
Currently learning math at the AP Calculus level, and so I am qualified to teach anything below this level.
Qualifications: Tutored elementary school students in basic math for two years, tutored assorted subjects of math and science to high school students over the past few years, scored a 35 on the ACT math section.
Will work with students to explain concepts, help them find the right resources, and work through problems with them to help however necessary.

I started tutoring a family friend who was in elementary school and got reccomended by several people. I am now in a tutoring group at my high school where I tutor various students as needed.
I am a senior in high school and have been in advanced math programs my entire high school education. I had a composite score of 34 on my ACT, and a 35 on the math section. I've tutored both elementary and high school students in math.

When working with a new student, I will typically start by asking them what material they feel they need the most help with, in addition to any deadlines that may affect our tutoring schedule. I will also ask about their preferred learning methods. From there, I will try my best to teach them their subject material in the most effective way possible.
I have worked with elemtary school students (3rd and 4th grade) as well as all ages of high school students.

I charge by the hour. $20 per hour is my standard rate, but this is flexible and may be adjusted depending on the level of math that I would be teaching.
