About Wendi
As a math teacher, I desire to help everyone overcome their problems in math to become successful. I have been tutoring students one-on-one forfover 12 years in the evenings and at Richmond Community College with math concepts in visual, mental, and other methods. Teaching Math at all levels from elementary to college.
I have my Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry, Master's work in Biochemistry. I have my NC teaching license in Secondary Science and Math, and in middle school science. I have taught remedial math at the community college and all levels of math within the high school.
Students learn new ways to look at the math. Students find help and success.

Applied for a science posoposi but did better with math concepts, so was hired to teach math and more recently science.

Find out what the know and understand thenthen they need help with first. Work with student through instruction and direct one-one, repetitive problems and correcting them, and watching how they work. I prefer to teach how to use tools rather than rope memorization.
Students range from elementary to college, all levels of students from severely learning disabled to academically gifted. Worked with teachers to help them pass their Praxis and licensure tests.
Find one that will teach you by paper, use technology and calculators to show you how to work out problems.

Where do they struggle (even basic concepts need to be addressed as they can cause problems in working a problem if they don't understand operations with negatives).

I am an Adult learner going back to school for my bachelor's , Wendi helped me relearn fundamental skills and rules of math . She was patient , simplified the steps which helped me successfully pass my College algebra and my College Statistics class. She always returned my call when I was stuck on a problem with my homework . Wendi is an excellent teacher .
