About Skylar
As a college sophomore getting a degree in mathematics, the classes I can tutor are fresh in my mind. I tutored all through my senior year of high school.
I tutored younger students in high school.
I recieved my International Baccalaureate Diploma and took higher level mathematics in high school, in addition to getting a 5 on the AP Calculus exam. I am currently a second year pure mathematics major at Florida State University in the honors program and have a 4.0 GPA.

I like to get a grasp of what the student understands in terms of the basics, and what the student doesn’t understand. Then we can work together from there to build logical understanding in the space between.
I have mainly worked with high school sophomores, but I have also worked with younger kids!
I recently volunteered at my college’s Math Fun Day, where I helped show children how fun math can be!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about exactly which point in the curriculum they understand up until, so that an understanding can develop from there logically.
