About Karly
I have a passion for teaching Singapore Math to students in grades K-5. While I specialize in the Singapore method of teaching math and in teaching students with dyslexia, I am also certified to teach any Texas TEK based mathematics to students that struggle or those that want to get ahead.
I want to inspire, motivate, encourage, and support both students and parents by providing a safe, secure, and loving learning environment to instill a strong confidence and love for learning math.
I hold Texas certifications in teaching 4th-8th math and 7 years of experience teaching K-5th math, having taught at Regents School of Austin, Rawson-Saunders and Valor Public Schools.
· Highly Qualified in Mathematics 4-8, passed TExES test April 2013
· Passed Texas 4-8 generalist test, August 2013
· Singpore math training and experience
· ESL Certified
· Region XIII Educator Certification Program Mathematics and Generalist 4-8, March 2014
· PPR exam completion in April 2014
