About Megan
There's always another method to learn math! Let's find the best way for you. I am a college graduate from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, with a major in Mathematics. I have 2.5 years of experience tutoring students at the college level through UNK's learning commons, as well as one semester of leading a study group. My students always come back with different topics to master, so I know they are succeeding in the previous sections we have worked over. I do not want to be a teacher, but tutoring is different because it is one-on-one help. That way we can solve the problem together. I loved tutoring through the learning commons, but I want to be able to tutor off of campus.

We will look over the problem together, and I will have the student do the problem as far as they can without help. After that process, I will help fill in gaps by giving other example problems, and hints of where to go next. There are always more than one way to solve a problem, so we will find the best process for the student.
I have worked with all college student levels, but I am willing to assist junior high/middle school and high school levels as well - they are just the building blocks for when you get to more advanced math classes.
