About Cole
Hello! My name is Cole Hurley, and I want to help you excel in math! I will do this by walking through exercises and homework with you 1-on-1.
About me: I live in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Go Chiefs! In my spare time, I enjoy science fiction and strategy games.
Qualifications:
I hold a Bachelor's in mathematics from Pittsburg State University. During the day, I am a practicing actuary (math professional in business) where I apply mathematical principles every day.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, emphasizing in statistics. I have taken many graduate level courses. In college, I tutored for 3 years.
During the day, I work for an insurance company applying mathematical principles in my daily work.

When tutoring, I start with showing the student how to do it. Then we work through it together. Finally, I will have the student explain it to me, so they can have confidence that they know the subject matter.
