About Nya
I have had the pleasure of tutoring for the past 10 years. I have tutored students grades K - 12. I have also volunteered in many Elementary and High School Classsrooms. I graduated college with a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology which has allowed me to gain an understanding on how culture impacts today's classrooms. Likewise, I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Teaching.

Typically, I begin with a free diagnostic session. In this session I will assess where each child is and what skill gaps they need to fill. From there, I will sit down with the parent(s) or guardian(s) and discuss what I would recommend for each student movng forward.
I've worked with students grades K-12. I've worked with students who simply wish to get ahead, as well as with students with severe skill gaps. I also have experience working with students of various learning disabilities. In all cases contact me and we can arrange a free diagnosic session, that allows me to see if I can accomodate you, as well as allows the student to see if my teaching style works for them.
