About Kali
I am very flexible when it comes to session times. I understand the urgency of some sessions and do my absolute best to fit people in where it works best for them.
I really enjoy meeting people at their level of understanding and bringing them up higher. I use a "show" method of tutoring, teaching through given homework and book examples as opposed to "telling" people answers. I think it is really important that people walk away with a better understanding than they came in with.
I have a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I have taken a large number of math, science, and physics courses to get where I am. I also am well-versed in technical writing.
I have tutored mainly mathematics on and off for the last 6 years at a variety of levels. I also tutor basic physics, coding, and a variety of other topics.

I start by looking over the material they are given for the class we are working through and asking them to do a few problems so I can gauge their understanding. I ask questions about their thought process as they work and identify areas of strength and weakness before I dive into improving their learning experience.
I have worked with students in a variety of ages and topics from elementary school math and reading comprehension to college physics, calculus, and coding.
