About Olaf
I am majoring in Industrial Engineering at Penn State University and 1 semester away from graduation. Math always came easier to me in high school, so i decided to pursue AP calculus and suceeded in receiving a passing score on the exam. Since starting my college career I have taken every required math course ranging from college algebra to matrices to differential equations.
I understand that Mathematics can contain concepts sometimes difficult to grasp, but don't worry practice makes perfect.
I have tutored friends and family on various mathmatical concepts and they can all vouch, that i teach with a sense of patience, effective time management and professionalism.
I enjoy learning new things along with acquiring skills that will help me grow as a student and person. Patience and being able to teach is one of those skills I am trying to perfect.

It's important to understand the basics because that can lead to more frustration with complex topics.
I will try to understand what the student is struggling with and try to solidify the basics and then efficiently build up until the student is able to solve larger problems without any help.

+10 would have him tutor me again. Any mistakes I was making on the math he would correct me and explain to me what mistake i was making and would help me fix it :))))
I hired Olaf to tutor my son in preparation for his exams during his senior year. Olaf was very helpful to find the time that suited me to help my son pass and did it in a comfortable setting.
I needed help with some physics and calc and he sharpened my skills up for my test.
