About Darice
I am a trial lawyer by training and a teacher at heart. I graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a double major in Mathematics and Political Science. I earned a law degree from the University of Michigan law school and also studied at University College, Oxford, England. I clerked for two Michigan Supreme Court justices, where one of my duties was to research and draft opinions for my bosses. This allowed me to hone my writing and analytical skills. As a partner in a downtown firm, I created many teaching tools for young lawyers. I currently teach Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure to college students at Henry Ford College in Dearborn, Michigan. My students will tell you I have a passion for teaching and go the extra mile to help them to succeed. My students will tell you that I care about whether they actually learn. I have the analytical ability to understand math problems, the mastery of English grammar and communication skills to teach effectively, and the creativity to make learning fun.
I love the challenge of teaching young minds. Each student learns differently, and it is like a puzzle to find the best way to help each student succeed. I love watching students grow as they learn new skills and become more confident and thus better versions of themselves.
