About Demian
One on one tutoring helps address a students unique problem with understanding taught material and work through it at a pace that is tailored to them without making them feel unintelligent for failing to grasp the subject innitially. Previous students I tutored not only saw their grades climb but also found themselevs developing a thurough understanding of the subjects discussed. The way I see it a tutor should be like a doctor; you go to them when something is rogh or wrong and if they do their job you leave no longer needing their services. The students I helped eventually gained firm understandings so that they no longer felt behind class lectures or like they were overwhelmed and struggling and came to be able to match the pace of standard school instruction and maintain good grades doing so.
I enjoy watching students grow and learn. Seeing them overcome their issues with a unit and any self doubt incur from them feels like a real positiive influence on other's lives.

I have worked with students ranging from elementary to high school with a variety of different learning needs. One of my longest time students suffered from ADHD but with assistance he was able to significantly raise hs grades in his math classes.
