About Harrison
I allow students to work through questions and material to identify where they could use the most help. Then, I begin with the basics in simple language and we work our way up to confident understanding of material. Talking through content like a conversation is often much more helpful than how teachers usually present to a whole class.
Throughout high school, AP courses, college, and medical school, I have taken countless science and math classes along with the tests, finals, Regents, and other standardized tests that come with them. I use my years of personal experience to find the best approach for each student!
I am happy to help students prepare for tests, complete homework, go over material for better understanding, and/or offer college and career advice and guidance.
High school: Numerous AP courses, 5's on most exams. High grades on all Regents exams. 2250 on SAT.
College: Studied Biology, Chemistry, and Sports Medicine as premedical student at a top university. 515 on MCAT.
Medical School: Excelled in preclinical and clinical years, high marks on USMLE Step 1 and 2 exams.
