About Jack
Grtaduated from Middlebury College in 2022 with a major in physics and minors in computer science and environmental studies. While in college, I was a TA for multiple physics classes, where I helped students during lab sessions and led optional help sessions for students looking for assistance outside of class time. I also did a little tutoring while I was in high school.

It helps to have some material from the class(es) the student needs help with, so I can look through it before meeting and get a sense for what I'm needed for. Upon meeting the student, I generally just run through some of these topics briefly and try to gauge roughly where the student is at.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
It is useful if a student can reflect a bit on how they learn best and what teaching styles usually work for them in their classes, as this can help a tutor modify their approach to best fit the student.
