About Talal
For me math is a way of living, its a hobby that I developed over the years. Throughout my life, I have inspired many people to love math. I switched students ways of viewing math and took their math skills to a whole new level. I am proud to say that many of my students developed a passion for math after taking my classes and ended up in engineering fields.
I have 5 years tutoring middle school, high school and sophomore students. I worked as a substitute math teacher throughout my college years. I have 25 years of experience in Civil Engineering and road construction. Math always have given me an edge over my other collegues and helped me advance faster in my career.
I follow a very standardized approach in teaching:
- First, I thoroughly explain the theory, including theorems, rules, definition which are core of the subject in hand. I use as many examples as needed to simplify complex concepts to the students
- Second, I skillfully and ethically guide my student through problem solving. I give them tips and hints to address problems in the simplest and most concise way
