About Laurie

I am a Certified Tutor covering a wide range of subjects as well as teach violin and piano. Plus I teach a variety of craft classes. I have aquired 3 college degrees from Clayton State University maintaining a 4.0 G.P.A. I have been tutoring/teaching for several decades. I love to see my students experience light bulb moments, that's when I know we've connected and "they got it!"

I've always been teaching something, since I was a child ... always wanting to help out where I can!

I have 3 college degrees maintaining my 4.0 G.P.A. throughout. I obtained my tutoring certification during college.

About the lesson

I meet with the student (and parent (s)) for an interview/assessment/initial session. I tailor our sessions to each individual student's needs.

All ages (from 3 year olds up through senior citizens).

Make sure it's a good fit!

When I run across a prior student (them recognizing me usually, because they've grown up) and they share with me how helpful I was in teaching them how to learn, study, take exams, read in preparation for an exam. It's truly nice to know that I've made a difference!

Perfect! Laurie was very knowledgeable and was successful in helping my child understand math and achieve a much improved overall grade in her class. Laurie will also work through your childs assignments ahead of time so shes prepared to work through the assignments. She provides a quiet and safe space for your child to work in. I also feel that her rate is on par or even lower than others but her services are not lacking. I highly recommend her services, she is proficient in several areas also to include music. Best of luck!
