About Kevin
I am passionate about math and believe that with the right guidence mathematical concepts can be intuitive. In my tutoring sessions, I focus on addressing preconsceved misconseptions and concept comprehention resulting in increased understanding, recall, and transfer of the material.
I've been helping my classmates with math throughout middle school and high school. This will be my third year as a tutor for college mathematics ranging from pre-algebra to calc II (C) while studying at Whittier College.
I will be avaliable for tutoring sessions around Whittier until I graduate. I am on track to graduate Whittier College spring 2019 with a degree in Embodied Pedagogy and Performance and a minor in Mathematical Concepts. My background in psychology allows me to better understand and adress the indivicual needs of my tutees.
I am avaliable to start tutoring sessions during the 2019-2020 school year in the bay area.
