About Kevin
I started teaching as an undergraduate. My first experience was tutoring English as a second language. It was a great starting point because it was an area that I am passionate about due to the background of my parents, both of whom learned English after becoming adults. Following that, I moved on to serving as a teaching assistant for my courses in university. During my senior year, I also tutored at a private tutoring company in St. Louis for middle and high schoolers in various school subjects.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with highest distiction in Economics and Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. I have extensive tutoring experience (including working for a private tutoring company while in college) with students ranging from middle school to adults in math, english, psychology, social studies, business related courses, and science.

I find it works best to get to know each other's backgrounds and interests so as to develop a strong working relationship. Following that, I like to hear what you feel you need help with and how I can serve as a useful resource. From there, we will create a brief outline for the session and get right to work!
I have worked with students who are learning English as a second language, students who are motivated to learn, students who need that extra nudge to get things done, and students who require step-by-step explanations of the problems they are facing! I have worked with students who also require organizational guidance in order to properly attack the work they need to get done!
I would advise you to find a teacher who is capable of adapting to your specific style of learning while guiding you to your desired result. I also think that you would work best with a teacher who wants to work with you to achieve your goals.
