About Melody
In April 2023, I completed my undergraduate degree in Arts and Sciences with specializations in Biochemistry, Mathematical Science, and Political Science. I began my Master’s in Mathematics in September 2023 and completed it in September 2025. Following this, I started my PhD in Mathematics in September 2025.
I am passionate about learning and I love to help other students learn. In my tutoring sessions, I aim to create a positive and encouraging environment where students leave feeling confident and proud of their abilities. I have tutored students in a wide range of high school and university-level courses, and for 3 years now, I have also worked as a teaching assistant for Mathematics courses at the University of Guelph.

My goal in tutoring is to help students stay engaged and excited about learning. I recognize that every student has unique needs and learns in their own way, so I always tailor my approach to suit them. When meeting a new student, I begin by reviewing what they have been working on and clarifying their goals for tutoring. This allows me to create an effective plan for how I can best support their learning.
