About Kristin

I grew up with a mother and sister who were both High School teachers. I learned about teaching and communicating especially from Mom who was loved by her students. After studying Mass Communications and Law, I then went on to gain my Master's degree in Criminology, supporting myself with freelance writing, and tutoring.

I taught communications and Criminology at University level for 15 years, while working as a writer, copywriter, editor and proofreader, and researcher. I have also returned to art - making and selling ceramics, and now painting.

About the lesson

I especially work well with:
* anxious or overwhelmed students
* students who have fallen behind
* creative learners
* students who need patient one-on-one support

I have taught at University level for 15 years, I have a BA in communications and an MA in criminology.
My teaching style is calm and friendly. I
focus on building confidence and skills. Encouraging my students to think and write critically and study effectively.
