About Deanna
I am a registered dietitian with a board certification in Sports Nutrition. I have over 20 years of experience helping individuals meet their health related goals. My specialties include health promotion, weight management, sports nutrition, wellness and fitness. I have experience working with vegetarian diets, celiac disease and eating disorders. I graduated from University of Rhode Island and obtained my Master of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from UMASS Amherst. I am presently the Sports Dietitian at George Mason University servicing over 500 Divison I student athletes.
I enjoy helping people live the healthiest life they can through healthy eating, mindfulness and movement. In addition to my nutrition work, I presently teach Yoga, Pilates and Barre classes at George Mason University as well as weekly classes at a neighborhood studio (SourceCore) in Vienna, VA.
I have over 20 years of experience as both a Registered Dietitian and Mind Body Instructor. I have been a Board Certified Sports Dietitian for over 10 years. I completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training through YogaFit and a 20 hour Kids Yoga Training through Kidding Around Yoga. I hold a comprehensive Pilates certification through Peak Pilates (Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrell).

I work with clients one on one (Yoga, Pilates, Mondfulness, Meditation and Nutrition). I offer lectures and "team talks". I do hands-on workshops and cooking demos. I teach group exercise classes.
I offer sessions to both Kids and Adult.
