About Samiya

I am an Operating Department Practitioner with a strong background in healthcare and five years of experience teaching students privately. My teaching journey began with a desire to share my knowledge and help others succeed academically. I quickly discovered a passion for guiding students through their learning journeys, making complex subjects approachable and enjoyable. My healthcare background has equipped me with a methodical and patient approach to teaching, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills. I understand the importance of building confidence in students and creating a supportive environment where they can thrive. I am passionate about tutoring because I love witnessing students achieve their goals and develop a genuine understanding of the subjects they once found challenging. Helping learners build confidence and unlock their potential is incredibly rewarding, and I am dedicated to making a positive impact on their academic journey.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated tutor with five years of experience teaching students aged 4 to GCSE level. I specialise in English, Mathematics, and Science, including Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics). I tailor lessons to each student’s needs, breaking down complex concepts and using real-life examples to make learning engaging and accessible. Lessons typically last 60 minutes and combine theory, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. I teach learners from Key Stage 1 through to GCSE, offering both foundational support and advanced exam preparation.
