Rachel is very inspiring, skillful and communicative with my daughter, Sidney in lessons. She structures them in a fun and efficient way that has kept violin lessons on track for Sidney’s growth and as something to look forward to each week. She has learned so much in a year with Rachel. We love her teaching style and as a person in general.

Rachel is an excellent teacher and accomplished violinist. She has been teaching and inspiring my daughter for 7 years. She adjusts the lessons to work with each student to help keep them engaged and motivated. If they are feeling stuck, she helps to get them back on track and excited about learning new things. She encourages the student to pursue things that are interesting to them whether it is a desire to transcribe a pop tune they want to play, composing an original piece, learning traditional fiddle tunes or playing duets. She meets the students where they are and has a great presence while challenging them to grow. We are so happy to have Rachel as a teacher!
