About Anya

RYT-200, certified Health Coach, Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, certified in multiple yoga styles, with over 5 years of experience in teaching and coaching Anya Hanks is driven to provide her students with a break-through experience and an accepting & welcoming environment.

Named Top Atlanta pick for restorative flow by Jezebel Magazine in 2017.

Anya hopes to help build a strong and healthy community in Atlanta through Yoga, Health & Mindfulness programs, and she truly believes it’s never too late or too early to explore the world we live in.

Kids & Teens:

In the beginning of 2016 Anya created the “Freestyle Yoga & Fitness Lessons” curriculum for the pilot Discovery program. These classes engage children in fitness and mindfulness activities to support their physical and mental health, providing them with the tools and techniques to stay active and help handle everyday stress. Anya is now developing a Health, Mindfulness & Nutrition curriculum for children.

Tried yoga class back in 2011 and was amazed by the effect it had on me mentally and physically, so desired to dedicate my passion about it to sharing mindfulness & yoga with others on my life journey

From kids to senior to pro athletes, beginners, intermediate, advanced

consider the experience, professional background, clients reviews and their actual personalities to “click”

I enjoy teaching (and learning from) the diverse spectrum of people, every person has their own vibe, couple’s sessions has its own style, small or big group energies are also different. Kids classes are always challenging but fun! In my teaching I’m tuning in with the energy of a group or a private student to guide them through the session and get the maximum benefit out of it for them both physically & mentally 🙏🏼
