About Carol

I love to help people begin their journey with yoga. Almost everyone can benefit from a yoga practice; the hardest part is taking a leap and starting!

I enjoy working with beginners, where I can tailor a practice to help you meet your goals, with the use of yoga props and modified poses

I started teaching group fitness at the YMCA more than 10 years ago. I have taught many types of aerobics, strength training, and yoga classes.

I am a 200HR RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). I am also certified in Curvy Yoga and currently working on a certification in Yin Yoga.

About the lesson

I work with students of all different ages and fitness levels.

Be sure the teacher is aware of any previous injuries and recent surgeries that might need to be worked around, using modifications or avoiding certain yoga poses all together. Never take any medical advice from a yoga teacher, as that falls outside of the scope of practice of that teacher.

I have a private yoga student who is chronically ill. We do restorative yoga a couple times per week. He loves the class and always feels so relaxed afterward. His wife says he is a different person after we practice. which makes my teacher's heart so happy.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask yourself what your goals are, and how a teacher can help you meet those goals. Do you wish to incorporate any spiritual elements in your practice, or are you looking for mostly fitness? Yoga is more than just doing poses, but its perfectly okay to not want to explore more than the physical aspects of a practice. Afterall, it is YOUR practice.

$20 per hour for one

$15 per person per hour for 2-5 students
