About Nicholas
A specialized functional and corrective exercise trainer. Capable of doing all the usual things like weightlifting and resistance training, but also with knowledge in Circus Arts, Martial Arts, Yoga, Qi Gong, and fire performance. Very well qualified to deal with injuries of any type.

I realized I was on the wrong path in Psychology although I had learned a lot at Boston University. I spent some years after getting a lot of certifications and trainings to make the switch to a specialized mind/body instructor. When I came to California I got more involved in Circus Arts and Performance and realized I could help very many populations with working past injuries.

I first have a brief interview process where I ask them what they are trying to do, if/what past injuries are present, and from there I will go into a combination of talking/working assesment exercises to test form and foundation.
I have worked with students ages 17 to 84 years old. I work with new and experienced, I work with 100% healthy vs injured and/or deconditioned. I believe there is the right mode/setting for every student. I also have had success helping people with severe conditionings such as AS, MS, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, and ankylosing spondylitis among many other sports and circus related injuries.
Make sure you value the health of your body and the safety of your form above any superficial things like "needing to lose pounds" or "getting more toned." A good trainer will always get you looking better while you feel better too.
Helping my father who is a 64 year old Martial Artist reduce his hip pain and restore function to his practice after many doctors simply told him to stop doing what he was doing.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
To truly get results in the early stages of training frequency is important. I always say that people should be willing to invest at least 30 minutes once a week to changing their body/reaching their goals. Even more is better!

Details
I start at $75 an Hour and $40 for 30 minutes. Because I encourage frequency of training I am willing to reduce rates for 2x or 3x a week depending on how often person is training.
