About Imi
Hi there!
My name is Imogen and I am an enthusiastic and friendly final-year music student at the University of Birmingham. In my degree, I enjoy performing, writing essays and learning about the varied disciplines such as history and politics that a music degree draws on. At school, I was able to apply for tutoring and it helped build my confidence considerably - I really believe that everyone is able to benefit from tutoring!

My lessons are hour-long and delivered with clear goals in mind to help my students reach their potential. After identifying the key aims the student wishes to achieve, I tailor my lessons so that we can move towards achieving them! My lesson plans are focused yet flexible, adapting to suit the student and their needs.
As seen with my past experience, I am passionate about tutoring and education. Previously, I have experience in one-on-one and group music tuition and, within my degree, have studied modules in education. I also have work experience with children and youth, both within the education and charity sector with ages between 8-15. Currently, I tutor with the NTP program and, after University, I will be applying for a PGCE teacher-training course - something I am very excited about!
