About Olivia
Helping students learn the violin has been a fulfilling experience throughout my 9 years of teaching. I enjoy working with beginners and adult students by creating supportive lessons that make technical skills easier to understand while encouraging confidence and musical growth.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, consistency, and practical learning. Students develop bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, rhythm, sight reading, tone production, and musical expression through structured lessons, clear demonstrations, and regular guided practice that produces lasting results.

My violin lessons are designed to build strong fundamentals while making learning enjoyable and rewarding. Lessons cover posture, bow hold, bowing techniques, finger placement, intonation, shifting, vibrato, rhythm, sight reading, ear training, tone production, and music theory. Students strengthen their technique through structured practice, musical exercises, and performance opportunities that encourage expressive and confident violin playing.
Students receive detailed feedback, personalized home practice plans, and regular progress assessments throughout their learning journey.
