About Ruby
I am deeply passionate about computer programming and technology, and sharing this passion with students is the core of my teaching. I love transforming complex coding concepts into simple, practical lessons that make learning enjoyable and accessible. Seeing students gain confidence and understanding is what drives me every day. I enjoy showing students how programming can be applied to real-world projects, from building interactive websites to creating small applications. My computer programming lessons are structured, personalised, and practical, designed to help students learn at their own pace. I cover coding fundamentals, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development, ensuring students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Each lesson is carefully planned to make learning engaging, confidence-building, and enjoyable. I focus on hands-on practice, interactive exercises, and real-world projects. Students write code, debug programmes, and solve problems through mini-projects that mirror actual programming challenges. This approach strengthens problem-solving skills, prepares them for assignments and exams, and helps them tackle complex programming tasks independently. Beyond coding skills, my lessons emphasise critical thinking, logical reasoning, and creativity. I adapt my teaching methods to each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, helping them think like professional programmers. My goal is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and mindset to excel academically and in real-world coding projects.
