About Malena
I received a History degree with a minor in Political Science, but I am also extremely passionate about all humanities-adjacent subjects, especially English! I'm an expert on ACT prep and scored perfect marks on my own ACT Reading and English sections; I have taught ELA to fourth and fifth graders, some of whom were ESL. I have tutored AP and IB program high school students in all subjects. I would love to help in any way possible with your student!

My philosophy is to meet students where they are at and help them where they see fit, in whatever ways they most prefer! I love to create study guides with my students, practice writing, and use quizzes/school results as jumping-off points. I am patient, helpful, and caring and love working with students at all levels. I have experience with students aged 7-17 and I am a unique pick for this role. I am eager to work with a student and their team to construct the best process for them!
