About Hallie
I am a guitar teacher who loves playing tunes and wants to pass that fun on to you. Learning the guitar should be a truly great time. I have been playing for many years, so I have plenty of simple tricks to help you sound better.
I am great at breaking things down nicely for total beginners. I have guided lots of students from their first clumsy chord to playing their favorite songs perfectly. We will set small, easy goals together, like learning a cool new riff.
My main goal is to turn you into a player who can learn new songs all alone. It makes me so happy to see a student's face light up when they play a song they love. Let's grab our guitars and have a really great time.

My guitar lessons mix learning the right habits with the joy of playing music. I make sure you know exactly how to hold the guitar so your hands never hurt. I will help your fingers learn the right moves slowly and safely.
We will focus a lot on keeping a steady beat, which is the secret to sounding great. We will learn by playing the songs you actually listen to every day. This makes practising the tricky parts much easier and a lot more fun.
I am here to help you get through the early days when your fingers might get sore. We will take tricky guitar parts and break them down into tiny, easy steps. My goal is to make you so comfortable that you can play guitar anywhere.
