I am Ms. Lina’s former high school student. She taught me Chemistry for approximately three years, starting from Grade 10. Closer to exams, she shifts into focused exam-style practice, so you’re not just conceptually strong but also well-prepared for assessment. She’s also very good at spotting mistakes and misconceptions. Even if a student disagrees with her, she listens and considers different perspectives instead of shutting them down.
Over the three years under her guidance, my confidence in Chemistry increased significantly. Although I was already in a highly motivated academic phase when she began teaching me, her mentorship elevated my performance beyond what I initially expected of myself. More importantly, she influenced how I approach learning. Her dedication, discipline, and generosity in providing additional resources inspired me to begin tutoring my own peers.

She is a great teacher at school and great tuition teacher too. Her students usually ask for her as their chemistry teacher because she explains well and gives lots of exercises to prepare them for the up coming tests. My son struggled with chemistry when he came to her. So she drill and explains the basic knowledge about the subject before she actually start explaining the actual topic. He asked me: how come whenever Miss Lina explains i can understand. But when my school teacher explained, i cant understand.
