About Juan

With over 15 years of experience using Photoshop, I am a Senior Graphic Designer and Photo Retoucher specialising in high-end fashion and e-commerce imagery. I currently work as a Senior Retoucher at Palace Skateboards, where I focus on premium fashion retouching, quality control, and maintaining consistent visual standards across collections and campaigns. I also bring over 10 years of specialist experience within the fashion and e-commerce retouching industry, working directly within fast-paced studio environments and real production workflows. Alongside my industry work, I have taught Photoshop Levels 1 and 2 to both students and professionals, covering essential tools, professional workflows, and e-commerce-focused retouching techniques. I am now focused on developing this further by sharing practical, industry-led training based on real client standards rather than theory alone. I have worked with a wide range of established fashion and lifestyle brands, including Agent Provocateur, Stella McCartney, Paul Smith, Alexander McQueen, Urban Outfitters, Stone Island, Ted Baker, River Island, ASOS, Mulberry, and others. This has given me a strong understanding of brand identity, visual direction, and industry expectations, enabling me to teach students how to deliver clean, consistent, and commercially ready results.

He has a good understanding of the fundamentals, and with more practice in frequency separation techniques, I believe he will continue to improve his retouching skills. He is enthusiastic, keen to learn, and shows great potential for further development.
