"Teens and adults often struggle with the mechanics of the instrument. Violin playing is fundamentally about left hand agility. I have guided 122 students through the nuances of double stops and shifting positions. My approach is grounded in 6 years of experience across three different instruments.
Tuning by ear and refining orchestral playing are core components of my work. You might notice that my instruction remains precise yet encouraging at all times. The goal is always to improve your sound quality during every practice session. I find that consistent small adjustments lead to the most significant progress over time."

"Tension in the bow arm is usually the culprit for poor sound. I often see students fighting the instrument when a subtle change in posture would solve the problem instantly. Drawing on my Postgraduate Diploma in Chamber Music from the Curtis Institute of Music, I break down these barriers for absolute beginners and advanced players alike. My 6 years of experience enable me to spot issues with intonation or bow distribution before they become bad habits.
It is quite simple to adjust these things if we stay mindful of our posture and contact point. We just keep refining the technique until it feels natural enough to stop worrying about it."
