About Kelly
I am an experienced Violin tutor with 9 years of teaching experience, helping School, College, and working professionals improve their violin skills and confidence. I have successfully taught around 200 students with different learning goals and skill levels. My teaching focuses on violin techniques, bow control, finger placement, music theory, rhythm, ear training, sight reading, and performance skills. I believe every student learns differently, so I provide personalized lessons with patience and support. My goal is to create an enjoyable learning environment where students build confidence and develop a lifelong passion for music.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students develop strong violin skills while creating a comfortable, creative, and supportive learning environment. I believe every student has a unique learning style, musical background, and personal goal, so I design lessons that match their abilities and help them progress with confidence.
Understanding each student's needs is an important part of my teaching method. I take time to identify their strengths, challenges, and areas for improvement. I provide patient guidance and personalized feedback to help students overcome difficulties and enjoy the learning process.
My violin lessons cover essential topics such as violin techniques, posture, bow control, finger placement, scales, intonation, rhythm, ear training, sight reading, music theory, tone development, vibrato, musical expression, improvisation, classical violin, contemporary styles, and performance preparation. I focus on developing both technical skills and the ability to express emotions through music.
Diplomacy helps me maintain a positive teacher-student relationship by providing constructive feedback in an encouraging way. I believe students improve best when they feel motivated and supported. I communicate clearly and help students understand their mistakes while guiding them toward better techniques.
Creativity plays a key role in my teaching. I encourage students to explore different musical styles, experiment with expression, and develop their own playing style. I use practical examples, creative exercises, and engaging activities to make lessons more enjoyable.
My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their violin abilities, and develop a lasting passion for music. Through personalized lessons, consistent support, and creative learning methods, I help students become skilled and expressive violin players.
