About Tomika
"Developing confidence in adult learners remains my primary focus. I teach from a place of technical precision. My 10 years of experience allow me to integrate classical repertoire with advanced pedaling technique and dynamics and expression.
I guide students through complex memorization techniques, ear training, and music theory. Rhythm and timing are balanced against chord voicing and sight transposition to ensure total musical literacy."

"Recording a playback of each session ensures you can review your progress at home. I monitor your physical tension closely throughout our time together.
My approach remains structured to prioritize immediate musical results. I draw on my Melbourne Conservatorium of Music training to keep technical drills fast and effective.
After 10 years of stage work, I know what makes a performance sound polished. Listening to your own sound allows for rapid self-correction. These recorded segments provide clarity on tricky passages. Students find the process of hearing their own growth highly satisfying."
