About Avtar
I'm Avtar, a UK-based FCCA with an Executive MBA (Cranfield) and 20+ years in finance. I've been a Finance Director of a £15m turnover charity and Head of Finance at one of the largest charities in the UK, leading a team of 50 and a function processing around £300m of transactions a year. I've also led audits, overseen a £70m investment portfolio review, and served on a charity board of trustees.
For the last few years I've coached 100+ apprentices on Data Professional Level 3 and Senior Leader Level 7 programmes, with every learner achieving a Distinction or Pass, and I work as an independent End Point Assessor. That means I've seen what strong leadership evidence looks like, and I know how to help you show it.

I coach finance professionals who want to step up: from finance manager to FD, from accountancy into charity or public sector leadership, or towards trustee and NED positions. We'll use my Career BluePrint framework to clarify your strengths, gaps and blockers, set your vision and values, and build a practical, dated plan. We can also work on your CV, LinkedIn, interview preparation and impostor syndrome, which is common at the step into senior roles.
My style is honest and practical, with no generic advice.
