About Matthew
I am a university student from Australia studying a double degree in Engineering and Science with majors in mechatronics and physics as well as a maths minor. I am studying a year abroad in the UK and I will be available until the summer.
In Years 11 and 12 I studied the equivalent of the highest level of Maths and Physics in the Tasmanian education system and achieved an Australian Tertiary admissions rank of 99.75 (Better than A*AA). After completing high school I moved to Canberra to start my degree and lived there for 3 years before traveling to the UK.

I also have had previous experience in tutoring and leadership positions in Australia, and a lot of experience working in teams and with people. My teaching style varies depending on the needs of the student, and the time of the academic year. I place an emphasis on ensuring that the student has a deep understanding of the content as opposed to repetition of exam questions, although both have a place in a balanced study regime. I believe it is also important to help students manage a healthy study schedule outside of the tutoring sessions, and I can assist in planning that.
I am flexible on time and location and happy to work with you on what suits best. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your goals.
