About Jenny
I have 3 years tutoring experience in English and Maths for students spanning Primary school to Sixth Form, and I also tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology. I want to help other students excel academically and use their time efficiently. My past experience in tutoring also means I am patient and adaptable in my approach to teaching.

My lessons focus on learning and understanding concepts first, before consolidating knowledge through open- and closed-book practice questions. Identifying what went wrong and WHY encourages self-reflection and developing ways to avoid it happening again. An overarching theme of spaced-repetition and active recall allows for continuous strengthening of long-term memory. I make an effort to get to know the student to tailor lessons to them.
