About Alex
I’m a Computer Science with AI student at the University of Nottingham, currently on track for a First-Class degree. I’ve completed a ten-week internship at Goldman Sachs and a 12-month placement at Jaguar Land Rover, giving me real experience in high-pressure, detail-focused environments. I love teaching because I remember what it felt like to struggle with a concept before it finally clicked, and I want to give my students that same “lightbulb moment” as quickly and clearly as possible. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and current level of understanding. Rather than rushing through content, I focus on building genuine confidence by breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps. I’m patient, encouraging, and adapt my teaching style based on how each student learns best. Drawing on my own experience navigating challenging academic and professional environments, I know how to identify gaps in understanding and address them directly. Every session includes practice questions and regular progress checks to make sure learning is actually sticking, not just being covered.
