About Jasmine

I'm Jasmine. I took History at A-Level myself, so I know what it's like to know the content and still not be sure how to turn it into a top answer.

I went on to get a First-Class Law degree - which sounds unrelated, but Law is really just argument, evidence, and analysis under pressure. That's exactly what History examiners are marking for too, and it's the lens I bring into every lesson.

Most students I work with don't lack knowledge. They lack a method for turning it into a strong answer under time pressure. That's what I focus on - structure, argument, and technique - until it becomes second nature.

About the lesson

A-Level History isn't just remembering dates - it's building arguments examiners actually reward. Many students know the content but lose marks because no one's shown them how to turn it into a high-scoring essay. That's the gap I close.

In lessons, we work on:
* Structuring arguments examiners can follow and reward
* Analysing sources and evaluating historical interpretations
* Applying technique under real exam time pressure
* Building confidence to tackle unseen or unfamiliar questions
