About Grace

I’m currently studying a two-year master’s in Developmental Psychology and Clinical Practice at UCL and the Anna Freud Centre, after graduating with a first-class Psychology BSc from the University of Bristol.
I aspire to become an educational psychologist in the future, and so am passionate about making education accessible and truly believe that learning depends on enjoyment and engagement. I never loved learning throughout GCSEs, but was lucky to have an A-level Psychology teacher who loved what she taught, allowed us to take out time to fully understand the content, and made me feel genuinely supported - I aim to give others that same experience.
The school system tries to squeeze everyone into the same mould, but we all learn in different ways. I aim to make Psychology clear, enjoyable, and memorable by adapting my teaching to suit you. Whether you’re aiming for top grades or just want things to finally make sense, I’ll meet you where you’re at!

About the lesson

With a deep love for Psychology and a strong interest in cognitive science, I root my lessons in evidence-based strategies that reflect how the brain actually learns and remembers.
For A-level success, as procedural (and frankly a bit dry) as it sounds, the mark schemes matter. Once you crack the code, it becomes a lot more straightforward (and dare I say, even fun!).
In our first session, we’ll explore your strengths, challenges, and goals. Together, we’ll shape how the sessions will run — whether you want to send over topics to focus on weekly, or follow a structured predetermined schedule, or work flexibly, depending on your needs.
I also support personal statements and scholarship applications. While they don’t come with a mark scheme, they definitely follow a pattern — and I can help you hit the right notes to stand out. I received offers from all five of my Russell Group undergraduate choices and several competitive master’s programmes, including the one I’m on now, which has a 6% acceptance rate — so I know what works, and I’d love to help you get to where you want to be next!
