About Abbey
Hi, I’m Abbey! I’m a first-class Psychology graduate currently completing an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Liverpool.
I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn and build confidence, which led me to roles where I support students one-to-one and in group settings. Through this, I’ve developed a calm, approachable style and I’m used to working with people who might feel anxious or unsure about their abilities.
I’m particularly interested in making psychology feel clear and manageable, especially for students who feel overwhelmed by content or exam expectations. I understand how challenging subjects like research methods and essay writing can be, and I aim to break things down in a way that actually makes sense.
I’m patient, organised, and genuinely enjoy seeing students progress and gain confidence in their work. My goal is to create a supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and can improve at their own pace.

I take a supportive and personalised approach to tutoring, adapting each session to how the student learns best. My aim is not just to help students understand psychology, but also to build their confidence and improve how they apply their knowledge in exams.
In lessons, I break down key topics clearly and use exam questions to practise skills like structuring answers, using terminology, and evaluating research. I place a strong focus on exam technique, as this is often where students struggle most.
Lessons are usually 45-60 minutes, but I’m happy to be flexible. I try to keep sessions relaxed and encouraging so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I’m a first-class Psychology graduate currently completing an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology. I also have experience working one-to-one with students, supporting them with confidence, organisation, and overcoming challenges.
I teach A-level Psychology, and I’m happy to help with revision, essay writing, or exam prep.
