About Stephanie
My passion for the social sciences was born out of my A-Level studies. I was fascinated by sociological theories and the multitude of ways that the world could be studied, experienced, and understood. As a young black woman, I connected with sociology deeply and found myself naturally excelling in the subject, achieving an A at AS Level, an A* at A-Level, and a First Class with Honours BA degree in Social Sciences. My thorough understanding of sociological theories, research methods and essay-writing techniques has allowed me to maintain the best grades in this subject.
Throughout my studies, I have been committed to supporting students in engaging with this fascinating subject because I believe in its potential to transform their worldview beyond the classroom. Sociology and the Social Sciences have enriched my life and I am driven by the opportunity to share this experience with my tutees.
