My teaching method is to go step by step, using an abstraction to break down the code piece by piece to get to the main goal. Also, writing down the steps of what is needed in the programming and then going into making the program. I will also do a review of the concepts to see what the student is really struggling with. I have the patience to help out no matter how long it takes to figure out the issue.
