About Miette
My name is Miette and I have recently graduated from high school myself. I am currently studying first year science at Monash University, with particular interest in neuroscience and pharmacology. My long term goal is to be a research scientist in the neuroscience field, as it is a good overlap of all the VCE subjects I enjoyed - biology, chemistry and psychology.
I have experience in tutoring and teaching peers and other high school students throughout my school experience, and as I was at school not long ago I have a thorough understanding of the content of the subjects, as well as the structure of VCE and VCAA processes.

My tutoring lessons can vary in length, depending on what each student feels they need. Typical lessons are 1 hr, but can range between 30 min and 1 hr 30 min.
I offer tutoring classes online, via platforms such as Google Teams and Zoom Communications, while also communication via email to provide extracurricular resources and, where possible, study support outside of designated sessions.
I have tutoring experience for high school students of various ages, and although I specialize in VCE subjects, units 1-4 - Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, I also can tutor younger high school students (from years 7 to 10) in General Science and Mathematics.
