About Vanessa
I teach in middle school and secondary school and I also teach in an Alliance Française. I've also taught to college students this year.
Skype lessons are a new experience to me but I believe this an important way to learn nowadays and be in contact with other cultures and I'm quite used to use etc technologies in my lessons.

With the primary objective of helping learners to understand French but, above all, to be able to use it both orally and in writing, my courses are based essentially on conversation and interaction, from which I normally works grammatical and lexical contents. I use a communicative approach and action and also I teach grammar inductively (you learn grammar because it is useful, from an example or context and not from theory to practice) . I am a teacher in high school and high school and I also teach in a French Alliance. I rely heavily on the European Language Reference Framework to define the objectives of each level and help learners to achieve them. However, I also adapt to the needs of my learners and I change my classes according to their requests. I am Portuguese, so I speak Portuguese and I understand and I also speak English but I prefer to do my courses totally in French because I really believe that immersion in the language and listening facilitates a lot and accelerates our learning of a language . It may seem difficult at first but, from my experience, you are all able to do it if you really want it. ;) I never use any language other than French in progress and I confess that at the beginning my students show to be a little scared and are hesitant but at the end of a few minutes they have already entered the French, they understand, and after a few lessons, they speak to me already in French, they make an effort since I do not speak anything else and really helps them in their evolution. We see a huge progression. It's rewarding for the student and for me. With the goal of helping my students understand the language and the language of the learner, I usually teach grammar and vocabulary. For that, I use a communicative approach and a task based learning and I teach grammar inductively (you get to the rules by need, context and examples instead of studying the theory and then practice). I teach in a school and I also teach in an Alliance Française. I follow the European language reference framework. However, I also adapt my methodology and lessons according to students needs and requirements. I am Portuguese so I speak the language fluently and I understand and speak a bit of English but personally I prefer to teach my lessons fully in English because I really believe that learning by immersion in the language and by constantly hearing it helps and accelerates our understanding and learning of the language. It might seem difficult at first, based on my experience, you can really do it! ;) I never speak another language to my students from the beginning. At first they look a little terrified but a few minutes later they are in "French mood", they are making the effort and I can see that this helps you, you can see an amazing progression.

May vary depending on the requirements, the type of training required and the preparation of courses (time, specific research, specific content, etc.). To do with the learner. For a better job on my part, it is important for the learner to define his objectives in the first class so that I can make a content plan to work and define the necessary hours of training. It can change according to the requirements, type of course and lesson preparation (time needed, specific contents and research, etc.). It's something to be discussed with the learner. For a better work, it is important that the learner defines his / her goals on the first lesson that I can work out a plan of the contents to be worked and hours needed for the whole race.
