About Irisinha
I’m a student of History and aspiring teacher, so I’m pretty enthusiastic about teaching! I’m also currently in college, so I have a very flexible schedule and would be glad to find the best fit for your lessons. At last, I consider myself someone easy to deal with, but that doesn’t mean I’ll go easy on my students. Learning comes first!

I’d like to think of myself as a pretty open-minded person, so my teaching strategy is focused on adapting to each student’s needs and expectations, even though I strongly believe in some of the traditional methods such as reading/writing assignments, and some occasional tests to determine whether or not progress is being made. I’m fluent in English and Portuguese, but can handle a conversation in Spanish if a student needs to switch languages eventually. Nevertheless, my goal as a teacher is to expose my students to English as much as possible to make the learning process quicker and more efficient.
