About Amy
I was a student favorite when I was an Adjunct English Professor. Students liked me because I made learning fun and relevant. More importantly, they liked that they could see a real before and after improvement in their writing.
I also have extensive experience teaching children to learn to read and write.

First and foremost, students cannot learn when they are stressed. I make learning exciting and fun. Often they feel like they’re playing a game and don’t even realize I am working in all sorts of reading and math.
I also like to build confidence. If you just learn two basic things—how to do a strong paragraph and how to do a basic Five-Paragraph Essay, then you will excel at pretty much any type of writing.
